Stone River Music Singer Guitarist from Richmond, VA

Stone River is a talented and dynamic musician that provides entertainment for formal and informal celebrations, parties, corporate functions, and holiday events. From small, intimate gatherings, to large stadium and concert venues, Stone River has performed in a wide variety of musical settings over his extensive career. At the young age of eight, Stone began his musical journey by playing and singing in local area churches. He quickly demonstrated his passion and skill for entertaining. As a teenager, Stone fronted several bands, displaying his ability to effectively cross over multiple genres, including rock, blues, country and contemporary styles. He also joined a county-sponsored summer ensemble showcasing singing and dancing to popular broadway music. In addition, Stone performed solo at high school, church, community, and charity events. During his tenure in the U.S. Air Force, and while in college, Stone played in two prominent rock bands in the Midwest. He performed regularly at the base Officers, Non Commissioned Officers, and Youth clubs as well as in local area nightclubs in Missouri and Kansas. He was also a member of a pit orchestra for an Air Force sponsored variety show, traveling extensively in the continental United States. Stone continued to play hotel circuits and nightclubs in the Midwest and West after the completion of his military service. Since the early 2000’s, Stone has been a staple in the Richmond area music scene. He fronted the MT AND THE D’s blues rock band for two years, playing local nightclubs, private parties and corporate events. He formed the highly popular STONE RIVER BAND in 2009, and re-started his solo journey in 2014. With with his ability to cross multiple genres, engage his audiences, and showcase a wide range of skills, Stone River is sure to bring a touch of magic to your event.
