So you are hosting an event, and need an ELECTRIC GUITAR ONE-MAN-BAND! You have come to the right guy! Choose the perfect guitarist for the event, and your reputation as a host will soar! Hiring a band for events can be very expensive, a logistical nightmare, and frankly too darn loud. Hiring a SOLO GUITARIST that sounds like a full band is the perfect option!
Do you love a line dance, a slow dance, a toe-tappin' beat? Then you are COUNTRY at heart! Whether you are hosting a backyard BBQ, a fall festival, a fundraiser, or even need country music for a wedding reception, liven things up with a country theme! I sing and play country music mighty fine. I'll even shine up my cowboy boots for this event.
If a classy, polished atmosphere is the mood you require for your elegant event, my GUITAR INSTRUMENTAL SHOW will set your event apart from the rest. When you choose me to play ROMANTIC TUNES, RHYTHM AND BLUES, or MODERN JAZZ, you don't have to worry about rattling your guests' nerves. However, mellow is never dull when I perform my instrumental show. I will don my tuxedo if requested.
Do you love the The Eagles, Skynyrd, The Almond Brothers, The Beatles? Then you are a classic rocker through and through. If your restaurant atmosphere has the doldrums, or your corporate party has the blahs, fire up your crowd with ROCK N ROLL and POP CLASSICS performed by yours truly.
Most clients, in my experience, prefer a mixture of styles. I am adept at reading an audience and adjusting the music to their mood. Whatever genre you choose, your friends and family members will not have to yell at each other to have a conversation when I play. With my extensive song list, there is something that will please you and your guests. Most of the tunes I do will be familiar to your guests, and crowd participation is very common.
Now for some background bragging: I have been in bands that opened for CHARLIE DANIELS, MONTGOMERY GENTRY, VERNE GOSDIN, and JEFF FOXWORTHY. I played live onstage once as an accompanist for SCOTTY ANDERSON and have personal permission from ED KING of LEONARD SKYNYARD to play "Sweet Home Alabama." I have played lead guitar with a band at SIX FLAGS OVER GEORGIA for a season, and have also performed at the BLUEBIRD CAFE in Nashville, Tennessee with the same band. On one occasion I played with a section of THE ATLANTA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA in a stage show. So rest assured, when you book me, you will be hiring an experienced musician with a variety of genres unequaled in the West Georgia and East Alabama areas.
Do you require a guitarist for a wedding, cocktail hour, reception, or vow renewal? Look no further. I have participated in many weddings, both modest and elaborate. Are you organizing a fundraiser, a reunion, a Fall festival? Maybe you are coordinating a community event, club entertainment, or an anniversary party? If you are a restaurant owner and looking for someone to play one day a week for a few hours, I have years of experience playing in restaurants and can provide excellent references. Perhaps you are responsible for a large music event. Then again, you may only be inviting a few friends over for a backyard BBQ and want to surprise your guests with live music.
Big or small, I am equipped for the job. I REQUIRE ONLY a 5'X5' SPACE for my minimal amount of equipment, so no venue is too small. In fact, one restaurant I performed at was so jam-packed I could have reached out and snatched a jumbo shrimp right off a customer's plate. (Come to think of it, he liked my playing so well, I believe he offered me one).
I deliver a full band sound that fits anyone's budget, space, and noise tolerance. I play electric guitar at a volume appropriate for the occasion and utilize professional backing tracks for a full, rich band sound. You are sure to enjoy my ACOUSTIC COUNTRY show as well, if electric guitar is just not your thing.
Several years ago, I left the band scene and ventured out on my own. The only other "member" of my solo act, is CD Player. CD and I know hundreds and hundreds of songs and we work perfectly together. Unlike myself, CD has never missed a note in our years of playing together, so we get on superbly).
On a personal note, I studied music for two years at a small private college in Houston, Texas. I have played as a church musician and vocalist for several years. I am married to my wife and sweetheart, Ginger, and we have three grown sons. We also have three lovely grandchildren and a daughter-in-law who reside in Florida.

Thank You and God Bless,
