Rachel Rose, a Connecticut-born, Austin-launched, and Brooklyn-based indie folk/rock singer/songwriter, has crafted a rich, nostalgic sound that incorporates elements of soul, folk, rock, and pop. Rachel has over 10 years of experience in live performance and has been gigging in the Brooklyn/NYC area for 5+ years. Rachel has sold out notable venues including Rockwood Music Hall and Baby's All Right, and was one of three selected songwriters to open the Hootennany Sessions at Cafe Wha? after a nearly 50-year hiatus. She recently completed a 3-month residency at The Bitter End and is a SXSW featured artist in 2024. Rachel was also chosen to appear on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (“Battle Of The Instant Songwriters”) and her original song, Back To The Beginning, was a finalist on NPR Tiny Desk’s Top Shelf Segment (Rachel secured the top 36 out of 6,000+ submissions). Rachel's versatility in her music is expansive.
