Do you like contemporary hits or classical, folk songs, hymns or happy birthdays? Jazz standards or Broadway classics? Tell me about your event and some of your favourite melodies, and I'll craft you a compelling set of a la carte songs, tailor-made for your event. I've been a guest on Vancouver Music Stations "Hot Shot Bands" and "Melodies in Mind" (through SFU). I have also performed at various greater Vancouver Venues, including Granville Island's Backstage Lounge, Downtown Vancouver's Railway Club and the Richmond Night Market. Currently I'm working on a 'Time Out Guide' to busking in Greater Vancouver. If you have any questions, I'm happy to answer them! * * * WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY: BEFORE THE EVENT: I will respond promptly to queries, and will do my best to accommodate all and any song requests made by the booker. Please state any requests or specifications regards to dress code, arrival time and anything else you feel is important. A 25% verified booking deposit (non-refundable) is required to secure your event ahead of the day. ON THE DAY: I will arrive early to the venue with my guitar or set of high quality backing tracks and a fantastic attitude. The guitar can be played outdoors, or indoors with amplification (to be provided by the venue, or I can bring my own amplification for extra cost). The remainder of the performance fee is due on the day before the performance. After a short introduction, I will play a number of songs of your choice and style as specified before the event. I also have a few silly songs up my sleeve for any little ones, if so needed. And of course, duets and audience participation can be encouraged, if that's something you require for your event. I can also play "Don't Fear The Reaper" and can provide a cowbell, if that's your kind of deal :) I am also very pleased to play a single song for a wedding proposal, birthday or other small and special event.
