Singer/songwriter and recording artist Koreen Perry is full of energy and pure heart. Koreen and her band give a nice mix in their show of country/folk-pop, and classic rock from the 70s and 80s. Koreen lights up the room in a crowd and is an engaging entertainer. She's an truly amazing performer, and will capture the hearts and good spirits of the crowd. Koreen recently recorded her brand new original single "Lucky" in LA with producer Chris Garcia under the Blue Pie Records label. Her latest catchy country-pop song was released to radio across Canada, with 37 stations taking it into rotation. Blue Pie Records press release: "Just her luck! The Canadian singer/songwriter is from Edmonton, Alberta and has been passionately involved in music and acting from an early age... From living in Edmonton to Calgary and area and Australia for six months, no matter where Koreen has been based, she has always surrounded herself with what she loves. Fast forward to 2011, after raising a family and the encouragement of a grant from RAWLCO radio, Koreen produced her first CD with her first originals and covers consisting of a country-pop, retro-pop style with a hint of jazz and adult contemporary works. Koreen's first CD was a self-titled project that has her first originals, along with her own brand of beautiful, easygoing country-style cover tunes, including artists such as Olivia Newton-John, ABBA and FleetwoodMac. "Freeze Time" was Koreen's last single original release in 2013. And again is a huge success in encapsulating her sound of easygoing country/folk-pop. Koreen most recently showcased for the Canadian Country Music Week in Edmonton in September 2014. She also showcased for Canadian Music Week in Toronto for two shows in 2013. She frequently performs live at bars, casinos, private functions, and festivals around Alberta, including regular appearances at the Edmonton Airport.
