A Touch of Class Saxophonist from Atlanta, GA

As a professional saxophone player, Greg “Ponytail” Tolbert is continually making my mark all over the United States with my smooth jazz and gospe sound of this era. I started out in elementary school when the band teacher told my father that this is a natural born sax player. I went through high school as section leader in concert and marching band and I went from there and obtained a full scholarship to college where I played in the marching and jazz band. I have been playing for over 30 years as a accomplished musician, song writer, and have performed on many TV shows with professional bands. I ha e opened up for many groups such as world renown Harmony Harmoneers, Sol-Air, and Marc Anthony school of music. I have also performed with musicians from Earth Wind & Fire, Dottie Peoples, Brick, and Frankie Beverly & Maze. I have also opened up for Judge Hatchett at the World Congressional Center. I ha e gospel, smooth jazz, and Christmas soul Cd’s for the world to enjoy. I play for many churches and funeral homes as a one man band with my tracks. I have performed around the US for weddings , banquets, parties, and festivals. I am known all over the US as ponytail the sax man. GOD has really blessed this musician with the talent I have received straight from heaven. I have worked with such artists like India Arie, and Cekoya Burch from BET Sunday’s Best. Last but not least, I have been written up in Forest Park town gazette as a great smooth jazz artist. I formed my band “A Touch of Class” that also has great musicians such as base players, singers, keyboardist, and guitarist who have accomplished a lot such as movies, and traveling all over the state.
