Orquesta Universal Dance Band from New York City, NY

Orquesta Universal is an eleven-piece salsa band (or as small as a 5 piece Cuban band) that plays mambo and cha cha songs that thousands of people have danced and listened to. Formed in 2004, already, they have performed at the Central Park Conservatory, Saint Joseph's College in LI, for Teatro Si at the Crossroads Theatre in New Brunswick NJ, and the NY Botanical Gardens for Fiesta de Flores and Caribbean Nights. Their first CD has just been released in 2005. Formed by Richard Vitale, this orchestra performs songs dedicated to dancers of salsa and Latin/jazz enthusiasts alike! Equally comfortable as a seven piece Cuban band or 11 piece salsa orquesta!
