The anchor of this four piece band is drummer Shawn Wells. He is the winner of a national drumming competition sponsored by 'Modern Drummer' magazine, and has deservedly been featured in local newspaper articles concerning his inspiring talent and musical background. The vocalist for Epic is Chris Bailey, who is also known locally as the solo artist, "Seraph Stray". His voice is recognizable by it's unique delivery. He also weaves his web of presence in Epic's sound through the use of subtle, smooth instrumental distortion. Rhythm guitarist, Phillip Taylor, acts as a cohesive glue for Epic. Adding his layer of clean, solid guitar tone, he strengthens the bond and overall product that Epic offers. Phillip Taylor and Shawn Wells have been playing together for years. Together, their chemistry allowed Epic to swiftly take flight. Generating a low, consistent, and unyielding array of sound, Mark Gunnoe heads up bass for Epic.
