Socktown Band Live Band from Kennesaw, GA

Socktown has 'ultimate' songlist...every style of classic rock & roll, blues and country is covered with roots leaning to Beatles, Elvis, etc.. the immortals. The versatility is there, but the group centers on a rockabilly style. The group features the 'open mike' idea, as plenty of special guests and audience members participate. The band was orginally founded by Gregg Reid, bar owner and musician. His club featured a 7 day a week open mike format. Gregg recrutied Phil to run the weekend nights to organize all the players. This traditon continued..and Gregg and Phil began fufilling requests to do private parties, and other clubs. Jimbo and Kerry were then hired to be fulltime players, and the current configuration was founded. This is a really fun &'stable' group of guys. no egotist or drunks, just professionals that love their craft.
