blackjack betty is a lively hard rock band which plays originals and covers from the 70's right on through today. We have played many large venues including Madison Square Garden, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Hard Rock Cafe and have been featured live in studio with the Radio Chick. We have also opened for many huge acts including Joan Jett, Vince Neil and Danger Danger. With a sound that could be described as AC/DC meets Velvet Revolver, with a little Bowling for Soup thrown in for fun, blackjack betty puts on a great live show that gets people grooving and having the time of their lives.
Free samples of our music are available for download on our myspace page, as well as bios and pictures of each of the five members in our band. blackjack betty is a professional band that will, dollar for dollar, provide the biggest bang for your entertainment bucks with covers ranging from Journey, John Mellencamp and AC/DC to Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, and Jimmy Eats World to everything in between. Soulshake did a great job for our frat party. We asked them to play a variety of 70's/80's rock, which they did. They were good and wild and got the ladies involved, which is always a plus. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good time.
