PAPA DOO RUN RUN's forte' is CLASSIC ROCK of the 60's, & 70's, including their award winning re-creation of the hits of the BEACH BOYS. They've been together for over 40 years, and still average over 100 dates a year worldwide! Members of PDRR have performed IN the Beach Boys', Jan & Dean's and Brian Wilson's bands PDRR's act is FAST, FUN, and SLICK. One of their amazing strengths is getting the entire crowd on their feet, singing along at the top of their lungs – you have to see it to believe it! They live up to their reputation for turning event planners into heroes! PDRR's first major record release, "Be True To Your School" (RCA, 1975), made the Billboard Hot 100 nationally and reached No. 1 in California. Their ground-breaking CD "California Project" (Telarc, 1985) exploded onto the Hot 100 Chart at no. 17, earning the band their second Gold Record and a Grammy Nomination. Additionally, they appeared in, and recorded the soundtrack album for the CBS-TV movie "Deadman's Curve". The band currently has 7 CD releases, and 3 original songs in regular rotation on Sirius-XM Satellite Radio.
