Have you ever had that feeling, when walking through a record store, looking at a piece of artwork, or hearing some new song in a friend's car, that 'this is going to be big' or that there's something you can't quite put your finger on and get a strange sense of interest and anticipation? One person who has elicited that feeling of greatness, a feeling of promise, youth and sincerity, is 20-year-old singer/songwriter/guitarist/pianist, Josh Quinn. Currently, Quinn is wrapping up the recording of his highly-anticipated release, The Quinntessential EP. This new record was mixed by GRAMMY award-winning engineer/mixer, Jeff Juliano [John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band, LifeHouse, O.A.R.] and mastered by Sterling Sound's UE Nastasi [Panic! At The Disco]. It portrays his unique sound as well as his growth as a songwriter. As a self-taught musician, Josh remains focused on smooth, fluid guitar lines, irresistible melodies, infectious grooves, and his own verbal musings. Retaining the playfulness of his first album, Josh's work on Quinntessential is something that he is taking even more seriously than before.
