The Doug Anthony Situation has been described as a 'Cool Retro-Revue', and 'A Cover/Originals band with a destiny'. Whatever colorful verbage one may use to describe this project, it is, in esscence, an amalgam of polished musicians from various Pop/R&B/Latin backgrounds and features the emotionally charged vocals of session vocalist/songwriter Doug Anthony. Volleying tunes from Tavares to Tom Jones, this group of players eagerly seeks to capture both the 'listener' and the 'partyer'. The group is open to most gig scenarios from private (with some form of grounds security) and corporate funtions, to sharing the bill with major acts. Also open to Television and film projects.
