The Mighty Silverbacks Rock Band from Sharon, MA

The Mighty Silverbacks make music that rocks. We like to make people dance and sing and have a good time. Our influences go back to The British Invasion and forward to modern rock. The roots of our sound range from The UK to New Orleans, from Laurel Canyon to Georgia. We feature music by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Rufus Thomas, The Band, The Cure, The Byrds, Soft Cell, Johnny Rivers, Cheap Trick, Gnarls Barkley and many more. The Silverbacks have been described as "a different kind of hair band" because of our distinguished look, a look that attests to the authenticity of our sound. Members of the Silverbacks include veterans of the Boston and New York music scenes who have been making great music for years. We love to play and it shows.
