Kit & The Chardonnay Boys- Original Rock Band Variety Band from Baltimore, MD

We are a high energy rock band based out of Annapolis, Maryland. Having toured extensively over the years in previous national and international touring groups the Dirty Names and the AMFMS (playing Firefly, SXSW, CMJ, NXNE, Treefort Fest, Canadian Music Week), this band was born out of the songs that frontman Kit Whitacre had been compiling while on the road. We are an original band which draws from the straight-ahead songwriting style of artists such as Tom Petty, The Who, and the Cars and combines it with newer sounds and grooves, a la the Growlers, Broncho, and the Black Keys. We just released our debut LP "BOYS" on Tiny Horns records, with accompanying music videos, are playing showcases in NYC and various club dates on the east coast, and are also looking to further our palette by playing parties and events and combining our original repertoire with more extensive cover material to fill out as long a set as needed.
