Kindred Soul Rock Band from Norwalk, CT

Kindred Soul is a Norwalk, CT-based rock band specializing in "vintage" blues-rock, R&B, and funk music from the 1960s through the present. Composed of three veteran musicians from the CT and New York music scenes, augmented by additional players at times, the band presents an energetic and hard-edged, jam-oriented interpretation of a soulful classic rock sound. Gritty vocals, funky bass lines, and solid drumming, along with aggressive, adventurous lead guitar work, make for an entertaining, engaging, often danceable blend of influences. While the band specializes in cover material, original material is also worked into the sets, seamlessly filling in and providing an unexpected element. All three principal members of the band are seasoned at live performance as well as recording and composing music, with numerous writing and recording credits, as well as experience performing in clubs large and small and at private events.
