Ardvark Felon (clever anagram for Frank Velardo) is a local brew of a band. They're original - unexpectedly heady, highly trained musicians. Their music is shaped by their own personal experience and taste, not by what they think people want to hear. They take chances and experiment in the same way an innovative brewmaster works to discover an exciting new blend of flavors. Ardvark Felon has notes of blues and funk with a smokey jazz finish, yet, still enough bite to be called rock n' roll. Unfiltered - a little bit of a haze, for sure. These guys have a rawness that is refreshing. Aardvark Felon is for those who want something new.
