Bec and the Bopcats is a four-piece band performing upbeat tunes from the 50's through today. Fronted by the growling, twangy vocals of Bec Natalie, we pull inspiration from rockabilly and American roots, outlaw country and the best blues shouters. The Bopcats lay the foundation for Bec to shine with Jim Bassano on guitar, Paul Towsley on the upright bass and Danny Roelle keeping the beat. We offer our take on tunes classic and current, and cover songs by many artists including Elvis, Wanda Jackson, Beatles, Queen, The Stray Cats, Sarah Shook, Kim Lenz, Nancy Sinatra, Brian Setzer, The Blasters, and so many more. We have a particular vintage look and style of music, and we work hard to curate a repertoire that everyone will enjoy. However depending on how much in advance we are booked, we are totally open to learning a tune or two to fit the vibe of your event. We love to celebrate special events, and we will bring a happy, upbeat vibe and accompaniment to any celebration. We provide our own sound and lights, or we can work with your equipment.
