L.A.K Acoustic Guitarist from Beverly Hills, CA

My artist name is L.A.K, my initials. I have been playing guitar since I was 12 and now that I am 36 I finally decided put it out there. It was after reading books like the Power of Now and the Secret that really got me to realize that this is our universe and that we are the able agents of creating an earth that is as much a heaven below as it is above. We have that power to make our world free of war, free of famine, free of destruction and factory farms, demolition of rain forests and other plant and animal life. Sentient beings being slaughtered for nothing. What a mistake we are making not seeing the true nature of our lives and our own inner being connected to each other and to the whole. Boddhisatvahood and Buddhahood are words to describe this essential compassion that emanates as we see trough to the true nature of things. And that is from where my music springs up. From a place of compassion and understanding of the condition we as humans are in now. But we are all now getting free of that insanity that has drained humanity of it's humanity, it's love and it's joy. Now we are emerging out of this into a whole new universe of beauty and unconditional compassion which will in turn create paradise on earth, when truly it already is. My lyrics are manifestations of a place of no violence from within. Freedom from fear and suffering. Freedom from madness, genocide and war. My lyrics come from a place of oneness as such they are not really mine, nor the poets I cover. They are connected to a vaster consciousness that is now arising on the planet and beyond. 10% of proceeds from everything in regards to my music goes to an organization that works to end discrimination for food employees in New York. Another 10% goes to my organization which will be manifesting free clinics in New York in the near future. My whole purpose now is to share my love with of humanity and all beings through my music and to assist in bringing about a new awareness of consciousness into this world and to alleviate suffering on this planet.
