Bruce Norris showed up to set up @ 5:15 p.m., he stated there was something in his way on the stairs (paint) and decided to leave. I was extrememly embarassed in front of my client. This has never happened to me in 13 years in the event coordination business.
he is professional and nice but never showed up to play the gig!!
I would greatly appreciate the $20 reimbursement.
Bruce Norris:
First of all.I showed up an hour and a half before I was to perform. I waited at the front door for 10 minutes until the home owner answered. He had no idea where I was to set up and Marie (the party planner that hired me was not there). I told him Marie hired me to play the rooftop bar. He directed me to the stairs that lead up to the bar(Three flights of stairs}. As I proceded to haul my equipment up the stairs I was stopped by two workers painting the stairs!! I told them I had to set up for a party at the top floor and they said to walk on the left side of the stairs so the paint could dry.Being that the stairs were narrow (about 3 feet wide) and my equipmenSong List
