I am a guitarist/vocalist who plays wedding ceremonies ,private parties, corporate events, and fund raisers, etc. I can play all styles of guitar; including Popular Music, Jazz, Brazilian, Classical, Flamenco, Spanish. I can play just instrumental music or a combination of instrumental and vocal music to enhance the theme of your event.
Here's a little background on myself as a guitarist and musician. I began playing guitar at age 13. Later I studied classical guitar and Western Music at the University of Minnesota. I played in many bands and been a full-time musician sharing the stage with local, regional and national acts. I became interested in Brazilian Music and studied with Tony Hauser. I can now offer a wide selection of World Music as well as American Popular Music. I look forward to doing an event together! --James Michael

Jim was so great! He arrived ahead of time to set up so that he would be "ready to go" at the agreed-upon start time. He was friendly and laid-back and he plays the guitar BEAUTIFULLY! We were hosting a small dinner party for my mother-in-law's 70th birthday. He sang played songs we requested (and we all sang along!). Then he easily transitioned to instrumental music while we were having dinner, then livened things up again once we finished dining. I would highly recommend hiring Jim, and would personally book him again in the future.
