Kristina Marinova Pianist from New York City, NY

Passionate pianist with a versatile style and brilliant technique. Solo piano, ensembles, chamber music. Ms. Marinova is enjoying a multifaceted career as a concert pianist, collaborative pianist, music educator, lecturer, music director, conductor, and vocal coach. Kristina entered the world of art at the age of four. She was one of the very few children accepted to the National Academy of Music and Dance for Gifted Children "Dobrin Petkov" and later to the National Conservatory of Music in Sofia. Kristina holds a Masters Degree in Piano Performance from the University of Michigan, where she received a graduate fellowship. She has been working with the Keyboard Collaborative Arts Program at the University of Southern California. Kristina has been entering piano competitions at very early age. She won prizes and fellowships from the Virtuoso Etudes Piano Competition, German Compositions Piano Competition, Piano Solo Concerto Competition, the Ohrid Summer Festival, UCA Piano Concerto Competition and UCA Piano Competition, and the Arts on Tour- Arkansas Arts Council. Kristina was the Assistant Music Director at the Wildwood Park for the Performing Arts and a full time faculty member where she served as an instructor, conductor and pianist for the Opera theatre and the University Concert Choir. At the university, she has been involved with various creative, innovative artistic projects and community outreach. Kristina is the founder of the Outreach Program for the Performing Art. She was also a facilitator for the Artist Inc, the first professional training program for artists of all disciplines. She was hired to be the official pianist and performed for the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
