REVIEWS:
"It was a treat indeed to listen to Harvey Jacobson's interpretations of the great American composers, MacDowell, Joplin and ("Fats") Walker...Jacobson's forte is Joplin's subtle, suggestive rags and waltzes. The pianist's sly phrasing and pauses sets one musing about rocking chairs, mint juleps, and magnolia trees." - The Washington Post

"Jacobson...prefers to include in his program music that is meritorious in its beauty but somehow rarely gets played. The audience at Jacobson's concert...can take pride that it heard some magnificent music that the rest of the world rarely hears." - The Melrose Evening News

"(Zez) Confrey's special style known as novelty piano was conveyed to Jacobson's contemporary audience brought Jacobson back...for three encores." - The Collective, Northern Virginia Community College
