I am a professional jazz pianist and play music of the big band era. I have recorded with jazz legends from Detroit. Trumpeter Russell Green, Marcus Belgrave, saxophonist Charles Gabriel and drummer Pistol Alan of Motown Funk Brothers. I was staff pianist at CKLW TV-9 (Robin Seymour Show, Romper Room, Bill Kennedy Midnight Show). Music Director Modern Dance Department Wayne State University, Music Director for Republican National Convention (1980 - President Ronald Regan); Drafted in Korean war. In charge of Battalion Band, Special Services and Music Director of Raymond Burr Show - (Toured Europe and North Africa. with civilian and army entertainers.) Recordings: CD: " A Legend, Russell Green", Green was the featured trumpet soloist with Jimmie Lunceford's Orchestra and member of the Count Basie Orchestra. I received a letter from the White House signed by President George W. Bush on April 1, 2002, for my words and music written in remembrance of September 11th when an act of war was committed against the United States. Currently Music Director of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Detroit , I work as a solo pianist and with the Gabby Rosolino Jazz Quintet. Other interests: I write about current events, the United States and religion. I am an apologist for the Traditional Catholic Church and a composer of religious songs.
