I view the art of photography as a subtractive process, seeing, feeling what is real and making it into my personal vision. I use all tools from modern photography – filters, digital enhancement that include adding artistic effects to images– to try to capture in an image the emotions I felt at the moment the photograph was taken. Through my photography I seek to capture my personal views and to share with others. I remember borrowing (without asking) my older brothers Nikon film camera just to play around with it when I was 10. Watching him and how he took photos inspired me and as years went by I made my first camera purchase at 16 and I have been taking pictures ever since. A family member asked in 2008 if I would photograph their wedding and I joyfully agreed. Simply put, I love what I do and I do it with passion. The drive I have to do this for a living is the absolute joy I see from the groom and bride when I give them the photographs. Looking at my website you will see that I enjoy all sorts of photography.
