Cookie cutters are great for making cookies, not so great for making wedding photographs. Those un-staged, unscripted moments make your wedding unique and unforgettable. The little details that go into a wedding are great because they are a reflection of your personal touches, but you are so much more than your shoes. So I vow not to miss the laughs, tears, whispers, or embraces because I'm off spending 30 minutes of your wedding day photographing those shoes from fourteen angles. You are not a prop. You've spent months planning for that wedding day, so why not be a part of it? Many people important to you have come together to celebrate a momentous day in your life. Soak it in. Live it up. Those human relationships and moments of joy encompass much of what makes your wedding day memorable. I believe you deserve a photographer who lets you enjoy the day instead of forcing you to spend hours away from your own wedding. I want my client's memories of their wedding day to be of all the time they spent celebrating the day with their friends and family, and their photos to reflect that. And so, my clients tend prefer a photographer who can creatively capture the magic of the day and the people between the poses, with the confidence to let you live your wedding day. I always photograph with the idea that while you may have hired me today, I'm also photographing for the future you who looks back 10, 20, 30 years down the road to recall these moments, or for your children who pick up an album 15 years from now to get a glimpse of who you were at this point in time. It's the little moments that create that big picture. They may be brief, but these moments matter. And the only way to get those moments is to be there for them. Luckily for you, I can't seem to sit still for more than 30 seconds at a time. It's true...people get tired just watching me. I'm always on the move. And with my approach to photography my feet are just as important as my eyes, ensuring that I'm there as your moments unfold, and not after they've happened. This kind of approach can't be faked. Experience matters and so I've honed my skills at over 150 weddings in preparation for yours.
