(I am based in Los Gatos, California). My portraits aim to capture that intriguing cinematic look that catches attention. I take photography very seriously and treat your portrait as a work of art. At events I have a photojournalistic approach and seek out the candid moments. I can certainly handle posed shots, but you don't have to smile for the camera, especially when you would rather enjoy the atmosphere and fun. Bio I was born in Russia and moved to California in 2009. I took photography classes from Stanford University and Rayko Photo Center in San Francisco. In 2013, I took an internship position with Embarcadero Media, the publisher of several local newspapers: the Palo Alto Weekly, The Almanac of Menlo Park, and the Mountain View Voice. That is where I fell in love with photojournalism. To this day, I continue to be employed by Embarcadero Media as a freelance photographer. Over the past four years, I have gained great experience working on different assignments for the local Silicon Valley newspapers, and as part of that I've photographed at Facebook, LinkedIn, Microsoft, and NASA.
