As a photographer I seek to be as unobtrusive as possible. A good photographer is somebody the guests don't really remember after the event except to compliment the pictures. GayaGal Photo is a 100% natural light photographer, who offers newborn, children and family portraiture. Newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your home, so you don't have to travel with your newborn baby. I bring with me a lot of prop. If your child is 18 months or older, an outdoor location normally works best. Other than your home or the local park, there are plenty of locations that would make a great backdrop for your kid's portraits – the beach, an urban street, even a graffitied building. Often times the best family photographs come from rather unconventional locations. Since every child is unique, I would be happy to help you choose a location that suits your child's personality. The early morning and late afternoon/early evening light works best for photographs taken outdoors. I recommend allowing 2-3 hours, (2-4 hours for newborns) for your child's photographs to be taken. I also encourages you to ensure your child is as well rested as possible with a full tummy. GayaGal Photo's style is very relaxed, artistic, and candid. I will never ask for forced smiles or awkward poses. My goal is to capture the personality of your child, the smiles and giggles, the funny faces, and all the details that make your child unique. Couples photography is an amazing category or dimension of photography where there is the opportunity to be especially creative in taking very expressive photos. These needn't be only dramatic romantic poses but those catching special moments between a couple in more natural settings. I enjoy finding situations sharing various moods, feelings, and unforgettable moments that tells a couple's story in my pictures. I strive to create a really unique, special, just–for–you shoot that focuses on the two of you, your relationship, and all of the things that are uniquely yours.
