Our Intentions | We started Essence Photography in 2009 because we love creating custom art, that tells the story of your life, in each season. We believe relationship should always come before business, and love that we often times get to capture many stories in the lives of our clients from I Do, To Baby Bump, And Beyond! Meet Justin & Betsy | Justin is a proud father of four who enjoys treating his wife to plentiful date nights, often accompanied by coffee (the coffee is critical, there are four children at home for goodness sake). Alongside photographing your big day, Justin also possess the ability to officiate your wedding; it's been done before! Travelling is a perpetual desire of this photographer/officiant/coffee connoisseur extraordinaire, especially when paired with a Starbucks' Cinnamon Dolce Latte. Betsy shares many of Justin's interests, which is particularly convenient considering their marriage, children and business being shared with one another. While life may become hectic at times, it's nothing an iced caramel macchiato can't mend. (Again, four children at home). Betsy loves any chance to travel with Justin, especially when paired with the opportunity to play the role of photographer at your wedding. Destination locations are never an issue for this husband-wife team. At the end of the day, Betsy and Justin are simply thrilled to have the opportunity to dwell in the true essence of love; to somehow manage to stop time and offer you a tangible memory that existed if only for a moment.
