Couture Imagery South Photographer from Flowery Branch, GA

Hi. Well, isn't this a little awkward? We may, or in most cases, may not have actually met before. If you do know me, hello again, I hope you find something new about me that you didn't know previously. For the rest of you that don't know me, until now, you've seen pictures on the site, maybe read some fun gallery posts, and if we are lucky, you're already thinking about the images you would like to retain us to create for you. If you so choose to honor us, we will be most grateful and excited to express our vision through your photo journey. And, if you just need simple headshots, we can do that too! But just be warned, there are no simple headshots, we make sure you look your best in all the images and really create shots that will catch your audience's eyes. As it may be, I'll introduce myself virtually. I'm Derek Shane, a photographer here at Couture Imagery South. I became enamoured by visual arts at a young age, taking pictures with any camera anyone would let me touch. I was never very talented when it came to painting or drawing, but photography, that was a medium I could use to express myself. I'm drawn to bold, bright, colorful imagery as you will see in many of my galleries. For me, photographs are an incredible tool. The art of photography enabled me to save something that we can not create, time. A moment, held in place by a physical print or a digital screen, photography allows me to tell stories which my otherwise meek vocabulary can not compete. I relish the opportunity to get to formally meet you, in person, and most preferably in front of my camera where I will have another story to tell, yours.
