Barrio E'nsemble Steel Drummer from Boulder, CO

Barrio E' (Neighborhood Is) is a community organization based in Boulder serving Colorado communities and cities. We aim to build a diverse community that embraces Puerto Rican Culture. Our organization was created to foster and develop an artistic space that exposes, educates, and promotes traditional Puerto Rican music and dances. We value diversity while encouraging creativity and strengthening social cohesion within the community. Barrio E' believes in inclusiveness, integration and the importance of each individual within our organization. Barrio E'nsemble is Barrio E's formal performance group providing traditional Puerto Rican live Music and Dance for your public or private event. Sample of events we cover are social, cultural, and educational events, in addition to festivals, business and institution events, wedding, birthdays, private parties, exhibitions at institutions and schools, among others. Through the various artistic mediums present within the Puerto Rican genres, our performance ensemble provides an enriching artistic and cultural presentation. We provide Stage Performances, Small/Large interactive performances and Educational performances. You can choose the type of performance that best fit your event. Combinations are also recommended. Musical Genres we currently present: Bomba, Plena, Danza, Decimas, and more Puerto Rican music/dance. We are based in Boulder and Denver, we travel to all Colorado cities with the Ensemble. We also provide workshops, classes, seminars and exhibitions empowering the community - no previews knowledge required - about music, percussion, dance, songs and history of the musical genre.
