Teya's dream as a child was to grow up and do what she loved doing best and still does, her music. Over the years, she has refined her talent and skill into a single act performance utilizing voice keyboard and synthesizers. Her audiences everywhere readily agree to the power of her voice as she reaches out, as well. She has performed in over 32 shows in the US and Canada for both small and large occasions. Known as a traditional country blues artist, Teya is comfortable with the sounds of Country Rock, '50's, Blues, Rock 'n' Roll, Oldies and more. She has performed throughout a large cross section of Canada, along with specialty engagements in the United States. Over the years, Teya has worked with (to mention a few): "Michael Twitty" – Conway Twitty's son "Bobby Curtola" -- Canada's Mr. Personality Many tribute artists….Elvis Presley… Ricky Nelson Roy Orbinson. Toshi Jackson and the Supremes… Kenny Rodgers … Randy Travis…Neil Diamond… She performed many sold-out shows as a tribute to Patsy Cline. Although producing her own single act, Teya is very comfortable working with bands when the call arises. She enjoys the challenge of testing her song writing abilities and is looking forward to recording some of her own music. Her love of people and a strong, moving voice, makes her the dynamic and soulful performer that she is.
