Bridge Projects: Arts and Design Costumed Character from San Antonio, TX

We specialize in kite-making and contemporary sculptural projects for groups of all sizes and experiences. BRIDGE workshops are conducted by professional artists and makers with infectious enthusiasm. Our studio is mobile! We arrive at your home, office, classroom, favorite park, or rented facility to setup our project. We then teach the lesson and cleanup. You're left with a beautiful product and rewarding experience. Kites are beautiful vehicles for creative play, bridge a wide variety of subjects, and art suitable for kids and adults. As carefully designed machines, kites have a rich relationship to engineering and design. Artists have long contemplated kites as sculptures, drawing one's attention to the sky. We customize each workshop to your experience level and interests, but have some of our favorites listed below. Whether this is a private kids party, an adult gathering over glasses of wine, a kite festival or burning man, we have a project to fit your skills and interests. Sculpture projects are unique making experiences. We foster our guest's innate creativity, and thus have designed a number of building projects for people of all backgrounds to build, create, and discover. Participants each build several pieces of a whole artwork, then pieces are then assembled on site into a permanent of temporary installation. Greater than its parts, the finished piece installed in your space is an exciting conversation starter for guests, and point of pride for members of the installation team.
