About Vendor

RECENTLY ADDED to the Gigmasters roster, Philippe & Facts Of Music® Productions is different from the "one-man-bands" you will find -- one of the hardest working one-man band/multi-instrumentalists anywhere! Playing 95% of all the instruments on all the songs in the media section, if you desire it, he'll bring all the instruments (or whichever you would like) to your event! OK, if you just want guitar and singing, you can have that! Great talent and hi-fidelity sound is of course very important. What exactly would YOU like him to do at your event? Philippe says, "just tell me." Whether you prefer the basic guitar/vocal and a mellow atmosphere, or a polished, high energy DJ with a sophisticated sound system AND live music -- look no further. Philippe & Facts Of Music® Productions is a great value for your event's ambience and music. Philippe can and will sometimes play as many as five instruments during one song and have all his vocal harmonies pre-recorded in the background. A seasoned veteran, please listen to the audio in the MEDIA section -- songs like the Eagles' "Peaceful, Easy Feeling," or a Beatles classic, "Come Together." You may want to start at the MEDIA section and come back later to read the biography below. Also, High Definition video is available upon request ( -- better than what you'll see on this site, due to formatting and size restrictions). Biography: Artist, composer/singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Philippe Willems has been recognized as an entertainer since he was a year old, when his maternal grandfather (band-leader/pianist Paul Darcy) dubbed him so, "The kid's got ears -- he's a musician." Philippe was born in Hollywood -- at Sunset and Vermont, what is now the Los Angeles Children's Hospital. At age 5 Philippe wanted to be a disc-jockey, but by age 7, he decided it would be even more fun to make the music that was being played on those records. His early influences were artists such as Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles and Beach Boys (most pop music he heard on the radio). Then came such rock influences as Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, CCR, Neil Young and the like; then classical music, and flamenco guitar (many of the masters of those styles); then eventually country and country-rock. Desiring to work professionally in the studios (he was 17 on his first paid session, and a local 47 AFM member by 18), he continued studying and playing as many styles as he could learn about and find. Please see the partial SONG LIST section for more. By the age of 12, neighbors and friends' parents started asking him to teach their kids guitar (and soon after adding other instruments, and even French). He was already bi-lingual because his parents and relatives (speaking French and Flemish) emigrated from Brussels, Belgium just before he was born. One of his earliest musical accolades was winning his 4th grade elementary school talent show -- he played an original composition on the electric guitar. By his early twenties, he had played and recorded on gold and platinum records with top stars -- international artists such as Paul Anka, Chicago, Mireille Mathieu (France's "Barbra Streisand"). He continued to play with his childhood musical friends too, who were also playing with everyone imaginable. While Musical Director at the Penthouse Magazine Pet Revue on the Strip in Las Vegas, Philippe also directed the music at Nevada Governor List's re-election party. His music can be heard on Radio/TV/Film -- shows such as TMZ, Ellen, Extra, and Fox Home Entertainment feature films, etc. In December 2001, Philippe and his Facts Of Music® system received a patent on the Principal Register of the United States Patent and Trademark Office in International Class 41 for instruction in the field of live music and entertainment (see photos) for his internationally used music learning/teaching system, "Facts Of Music®."
