Irina Myachkin Singer Guitarist from San Jose, CA

Irina Myachkin is a one man band - playing an acoustic guitar and singing. I have a rich repertoire of covers, as well as my original music. Russian songs, songs in Spanish will be a special treat for your event! BIO I am a Russian singer-songwriter in English and Russian. I lived most of my life in a small town, graduated from a State University with Master's in Education, and while attending that, have learnt an art of playing an acoustic guitar and have written my first original songs in Russian.  Since then I have started my public performances. In 2011 I have moved to the US, and began my career as a teacher of music for young children. America opened new opportunities for me and gave a great push for my music development and exposure. Being first days in New York, back in 2011, I wrote my first song in English called "If Only I".  Now, I teach music privately, and at a local music studio; as well as perform at local coffee shops, colleges, retirement homes, restaurants, private events, etc., introducing my original work as well as eclectic popular covers. I'll try to take you on a beautiful musical journey and make you experience a perfect blend of the words and flowing music.  During my performance I try to create a soulful intimate atmosphere to keep the audience involved and pleased as much as possible.
