Andy Burke One Man Band from Columbia, SC

Andy Burke first picked up guitar at the age of ten and began writing songs soon thereafter. He has a long history of performing that dates back to junior high school in Lumberton, NC. He was one of the founding members and frontman of the rowdy and ever-popular bluegrass band Bear Down Easy out of Asheville, NC from 2007-2014. He moved to Columbia, SC in 2014 to attend graduate school, where he continues as a full-time student. Andy is currently performing as a solo act and with a trio, The Tin Whiskers. He is well-seasoned in performing wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, receptions, festivals, corporate functions, and backyard barbecues. He has a full PA system that can be utilized as needed for your event. Typically, Andy is able to learn 1-2 requested songs, and additional songs for a nominal fee. He is very flexible and is comfortable performing instrumental, rowdy covers, background music, and everything in-between. His sets can be tailored to highlight specific genres, namely country, bluegrass, folk, americana, singer-songwriter, or a combination of these.
