RetroActive is a North Dallas 'Oldies Band' that specializes in Golden Oldies, DooWop's, Rockabilly, and 50's, 60's, and 70's Rock & Roll. RetroActive can 'mix' enough different types of music during their sets to please all listeners. They have tight harmonies, lots of talent on all the instruments and voices, and bring excitement to the dance floor, as well as the listeners. Once they start playing, no one wants to leave the party. They have a large musical repertoire, and bring a fresh and new sound to everything they play. RetroActive has high quality instruments, amps, and PA sets that will handle any sized venue (from large halls and outdoor events to parties in private homes).
To quote the band's drummer and founding member, Rich Bogdon: "I realized that North Texas had quite a few really good bands, but none that specialized in the Golden Oldies and DooWop sounds that so many audience members love, but can't find. I started RetroActive to bring all the music I loved in the past, but couldn't find here, to the stages of North Texas'. RetroActive is just that band!!
