Very experienced professionals offering a wide variety of classical and jazz,and world folk music combos ranging from duos, trios, quartets for all occasions. At your request we can provide any kind of instrumentation you desire. Our basic duo consists of recorder(flute) and guitar/banjo/mandolin with vocals if needed. Based in the Boston area we have performed at places such as the Boston State House, Deval Patrick functions, the Hynes Convention Center and major halls such as Carnegie, the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C, the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. Freeana and Rosen were a pleasure to have for our special occasion. We had an intimate gathering in my home for my father's 70th birthday. The wind and string ensemble provided the perfect mood setting and musical surprise for the event. Freeana and Rosen were prompt with communications and responsive to requests for specific types of music. They arrived ahead of time and provided a wonderful mini-concert for my family's gathering. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to friends for any occasion.
