Aubrea Alford started playing piano at the age of 5 and violin at the age of 8, establishing a strong foundation in classical music. However, it was during college when she fell in love with improvising in jazz, folk, and rock. Since then, she has toured all over the country as an active performer and recording artist, playing violin and piano in various bands, venues, and settings. Aubrea's love of many different genres, along with her vast experience, help create a unique aspect to her parts that will give your music exactly what it craves.

“Aubrea Alford on violin.. provides a cinematic, wind-sweeping-over-the-plains depth.” (Julian Martlew, No Depression magazine)

“Aubrea Alford stood out as one of the group's most talented members, playing a violin solo with aching passion and gorgeous tone.” (Carolyn Michaels, CU Independent.)

Aubrea provided excellent music to my daughters wedding. She was very professional, accommodating and played with confidence. My guests really enjoyed the songs she played. Each time I reached out to her with a question, she responded in a timely manner. I would recommend her at any time.

Aubrea was great! We booked her on short notice after our original violinist cancelled just before our wedding. We discussed the style of music that we wanted which was a mix of pop and classical/traditional. I provided her with a few examples and she offered a song list that closely matched what we were looking for, including a few songs I specifically requested. One song was a must for our wedding recessional - "This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody)" by the Talking Heads. She put together a wonderful arrangement for the violin. It was perfect. Aubrea was easy to communicate with, very professional and an amazing talent. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Aubrea!
