We are a 5-7 piece band featuring 3 dynamic female vocalist...The Ladies of SOUL.... with extensive experience performing live. We perform hits from Motown , Disco, Dance Classic R&B and today's Contemporary , we also do themed show such as all Motown or Disco Divas, Ladies of Jazz, including a Whitney Houston tribute, Donna Summers tribute and our Beyonce show is amazing and super charged! Want something more subdued and elegant, we can do that too. Our Sade show is one of the best around. What ever you are looking for we can and will provide. From wedding receptions to private parties. We aim to please. We look forward to making your event spectacular.

April "Deja" French is an award winning vocalist & songwriter, Singing since the age of three. Music was always on in our house, whether it was my Daddy's cool Jazz , Mama's soulful Gospel, or my older siblings, R&B. I started out in the Church Choir. I began to train professionally at the age of 12. Since then I've sang back up for several well known artists, been featured in 3 off Broadway Musicals, all of which I earned awards and more recently as vocalist for The Ladies Of Soul. My career spans two decade starting with my first paid gig for a friends wedding back in 1988 since then I've done just about every type of venue from cruise ships to festivals and theaters.
Shamara Turner born in Nassau Bahamas and raised in Vero Beach, Fl. My musical journey started before I could walk. My father was my biggest inspiration. He would sing to me and, have me sing along with him. I told myself that when I grow up, I was going to be a great singer. I joined my school's chorus program and stayed in it throughout school years. I was the lead singer for my church choir & for a band called"The Touch". Wanting to show more talent to a different audience I, performed two musicals with the local theatre guild in which I've won awards. I'm currently a professional singer with the "Theater Go Round" under the direction of Jon Putzke and LOS.
Shante Love. started singing in church and then in high school. She joined her first band as a back up singer but quickly moved to the front. She was with that band for over a decade before joining The Ladies Of Soul. She has headlined several festivals.
Sensational drummer & front man. George has been a professional drummer for the past 27 years . Playing in rock bands to top 40 and Blues and top earning wedding bands . His extensive knowledge and strong front man personality has made him stand out . Every project he touches turns to gold. George joined the Ladies Of Soul in early 2015.
Bob Gaffney, a true musical vet, his experience and expertise spans 4 decades. From performing with many famous entertainers to fronting his own 10 piece band. Bob is a true professional and an outstanding musician. He credits his love of music to The Monkees and Glen Campbell. He is an ward winning songwriter and guitarist, having worked with the likes of the Drifters and Bobby Ruffin. Soon after he started getting calls for recording sessions at TK and worked with KC & The Sunshine Band, Foxy, Bobby Caldwell ("What You Won't Do For Love"), George McCrae, Betty Wright, Anita Ward ("Ring My Bell"), Kracker, and a host of other funk and disco acts signed to TK. and other disco artists such as Gloria Gaynor, Melba Moore, Vickie Sue Robinson, and Cheryl Lynn. TV appearances included Nashville Now (Ralph Emery) and Solid Gold (Marylin McCoo) and VH1 "Where Are They Now?". He is currently lead Guitarist for LOS.
David Cassarino, started playing the trumpet at 9 years old and continued as a horn player, playing trumpet and trumpet player in his high school band. His father bought him a Slingerland drum set at 13 and soon after he formed his own band. By the time he was 17, he picked up the guitar and bass guitar. After high school, he studied Music theory at Manchester Community College . And has since performed with several bands, sharing the stage with many great musicians including the legendary Rick Derringer. After taking a short break from live performance,he is back on track with LOS.
Alan Martinke started playing piano at age 4. At age 17, fresh out of classical training he joined the touring band StoneHouse. From there he joined Crazy Fingers, S. FL's premiere Grateful Dead tribute band. During that time he played big festivals, opening for Bob Weir's band Rat Dog, P-Funk, and played lavish after parties for Phil Lesh and Friends at Universal Studios! After a good 5 year run with them Alan went on to start his own project, AquaPhonics which was a 3pc jam-tronic and funk band. They toured extensively, playing large festivals like Bear Creek, BlackWater, Magnolia Fest, Aura Music & Arts Fest, Orange Blossom Jamboree. In early 2015, he joined The Ladies of Soul, and has enjoyed working with a diverse group of extremely talented musicians!
