Laura Lee's love for performing was born at a very young age. Growing up in a boisterous Italian/Greek family, Laura Lee was known for her big heart, spirited personality and her ability to be seen and heard above an often-chaotic crowd. According to her family, as soon as she was old enough to walk and talk, she was dancing around the house performing, singing and being delightfully melodramatic. She also inherited her family's business sense and fierce work ethic, assisting her parents with the family business whenever she wasn't in school. Staying active in the performing arts all throughout grade school and high school, Laura Lee went on to complete her degree in Theater Arts at Skidmore College in New York. Naturally from there she headed to Hollywood to pursue her dreams. Like so many others before her, she struggled to obtain work and “get noticed” in the industry. Slowly but surely, she began landing roles in regional theater productions, advertising commercials, and broadcast television. To achieve success on her career path, Laura Lee focused on leveraging her talents- her tenacious personality as an actress and her goal-oriented drive as a business woman. This lead her to exploring more and more commercial acting opportunities. Soon, she was ranked as one of the most successful commercial actresses in Hollywood, appearing in many commercials for international corporations like McDonalds, Visa, Geico, and Toyota. Laura Lee began to land roles on popular television shows, including As the World Turns, Valley of the Dolls, and Law and Order, all while remaining active in theater. She even authored, produced, directed, and starred in a successful one act play, “Truth by Consequence.” After a long and successful career as a highly sought after commercial, television, film, and theater actor, Laura Lee returned to New Jersey with an understanding of advertising, commercial marketing, and self-promotion. She used her strong business acumen and expertise to help develop and launch several new business ventures that enabled her family's business to expand. For over a decade she owned and operated two highly successful car dealerships, becoming the first female KIA Dealer in the state of New Jersey, as well as, one of the few female Toyota Dealers. During her time in New Jersey, Laura Lee became highly involved in many community and out reach programs. And found a true passion especially for those that focused on Women and Children. As a Board Member of SAFE in Hunterdon, the local domestic violence shelter, Laura Lee hosted and orchestrated, "Dancing With The Cars", a Gala event raising money and awareness for victims and survivors of domestic abuse. This parlayed into Laura Lee being the emcee for the annual Gala Event for Safe In Hunterdon. Laura Lee, opened her store up to the local Girl Scout Troops, exposing young women to the concept of business leadership. She raised money and often made personal donations every year to local shelters requiring, clothing and personal need times for women and children. Laura Lee held her annual Holiday Toy Drive, for those children of the shelter. She has been the speaker and key presenter for The Women's Leadership Summitt, in Edison NJ, as well as, a presenter for The Women Series, for the Local Chamber of Commerce. She has sat on many boards, including, but not limited to NJ CAR, The Cancer Advisory Board of Hunterdon County, SAFE in Hunterdon, Financial Resources Credit Union Charity Board. It is Laura Lee's passion to ignite the spirit of all, yet has strong gravitation towards women and children. It is her belief that "it doesn't matter where you started, it's where you end up that counts!" As a former, cancer survivor, she also chooses to inspire, support, love and aide those who lives have been inflicted with disease. Laura Lee speaks from her heart, often funny, but always powerful!
