TITLE - SUCCESS UNDER PRESSURE
Gary Bailey is a former Manchester United and England soccer goalkeeper and Michelle Mclean-Bailey was crowned Miss Universe in 1992. Both have performed under intense pressure and have learnt simple but effective methods to cope with and eventually THRIVE under pressure.
They have a dynamic and motivational keynote or workshop (5 GREAT principles) , which guarantees to leave the delegates with useful tools to help them perform more effectively under pressure. This topic is of crucial importance to all businesses as pressure remains constant and intense, and it leaves workers feeling unfulfilled, unhappy and in many cases on anti depressants. It's imperative that companies find an easy and safe method to deal with pressure and increase success, and the 5 GREAT principles are designed to achieve this, and they take up NO extra time at all !
Gary and Michelle speak together and also individually (in case you prefer just one speaker, or have a ladies group) and in each case they have managed to help companies improve their bottom line success, their sales figures, their ability to work as a team, and their overall enjoyment of the pressures of business.
Their presentation is excellent value for money as Gary and Michelle have recently moved to the USA and are buidling up their business, and are offering large discounts in order to build their base. They have spoken on every continent and to most of the Fortune 500 companies such as Coke, IBM, Chevrolet, Sony, Siemens, AON, Castrol, Deloittes, Nike, Pepsi, Mercedes, DHL, Barclays and many more. Gary holds an MBA from Henley in Oxford and is a Hall of Fame (SA) speaker - he has written a book called "Succeed Under Pressure" with Professor Rakesh Sondhi.
They currently live in South Florida and Gary is a host presenter for BeIn sports station in Miami
The content of their presentation:
Excessive pressure produces too much Adrenalin and Cortisol, and our bodies are not designed to deal with such high levels, and this inhibits our ability to be successful. In order to counter these effects, we have designed the 5 GREAT principles which safely put positive hormones back into your system, and allow you to operate at maximum capacity.
There are 5 GREAT principles which are of huge value in terms of improving success levels :
Gratitude – by creating a business approach to gratitude, you can ensure regular gratitude focus and this releases dopamine(positive mood enhancer) into your brain
Reframing – reframing situations makes us more positive about stressful issues, and this releases serotonin which maintains mood balance and calmness
Energy - Pressure reduces your energy levels, so balance this by Exercising and eating well – we give practical tips on how to exercise without taking any time out of your day, and how to eat in a way that adds energy to your day.
Advancement – When we try to improve our knowledge, advancing ourselves produces Dopamine when we achieve our objectives, and having smaller easier objectives means more Dopamine.
TeamWords – the use of appropriate teamwords can enhance social bonding through the release of oxytocin (another positive hormone) creating closeness and a willingness to help others.
VALUE TO DELEGATES
Delegates will leave with an outline of how they can use Gary and Michelle's 5 GREAT principles to ensure they not only perform under pressure, but THRIVE ! The workbook provides a diary for regular postings and a questionnaire to measure the improvement from the beginning to the end of the program. These GREAT skills not only improve success at work, but also have a profound positive effect on the delegate's personal lives.
