That was a beginning, as Rivers still was caught in the grips of crime and addiction. After a meeting with his mentor upon release from solitary confinement, Rivers was given an opportunity of a lifetime: use his life to help others. When Rivers walked out the doors of prison, he carried with him purpose. Upon his release, Rivers has received degrees in Network Administration and Computer Information Systems. He worked various jobs from brick maker, warehouse worker, mover while completing his education and currently works as an Account Manager with a Fortune 1000 company.
