My name is VJ Big Daddy. I started out as a VJ for Depot in 2000 and Badlands in 2004, while also editing video clips for entertainment. In 2007, I started working as a DJ/VJ for Faces Nightclub. Working as a DJ at all the previous venues requires an extensive knowledge of music as the clientele can prefer a certain genre at any given time. Since 2013, I've been working mobile gigs. I have been the resident DJ for roller derby tournaments in Richmond and Sacramento; 5K races in Sacramento, Berkeley, and San Rafael; birthday parties in Sacramento, Half Moon Bay and San Carlos; house parties in Sacramento; trivia nights in Sacramento; bingo nights in Sacramento; and wedding receptions in Sacramento; and draq queen shows in Sacramento and Woodland. I like to be diverse in my playset. However, my library contains the following genres: Classical, Jazz, Blues, R&B, Hip-Hop, Top 40, Pop, Country, Rock, Motown, Funk, Classic Rock, Soul, Neo-Soul, Smooth Jazz, 1920s, Mashups, Dance, House, Electronic, and Old School. I grew up listening to all kinds of music and my talent reflects that. I like what I do.
Most importantly, I like to listen to music and for people to have a good time.
