In Hannah's words....
"It brings me great joy to bring dance to people through celebrating special occasions with them. My philosophy is that aesthetic refinement, which comes from many years of dedication to the study of an art form, is a perfect vehicle for the transmission of Love, which I believe is really what we are here as human beings to do. When the two, Art and Love, interweave - that is when we are touched and uplifted, because it speaks to our higher self, which intuitively we know ourselves to be. These qualities are what I bring to my audience - grace, beauty, sensuality, and joy."
As one client said, "Hannah radiates an inner joy, a celebration of the divine, that glows and grows inside her audience. Watching Hannah dance, one is finds herself channeled into the timeless essence of feminine grace, connecting to all women past and present, freeing us to express our true innate beauty. To connect with a very special place inside yourself: gather a circle of friends, place Hannah in the center, start the drum, and lose yourself in the rhythm and flow of her sensual undulating dance.” (Anne B.)
Belly Dance in the Middle-East is an important part of the wedding celebration, because the dancer represents joy, love, and abundance, and through her dance bestows good wishes on the newly-married couple. Audiences are often fascinated by the history of dance in the Middle East. Hannah is available to give talk on the history of women, culture and dance in the Eastern world, when appropriate, for showers and other women's gatherings. She is available for special workshops on sacred dance and women's dances from the Middle East and Central Asia.
