BRINGING YOU THE FINEST IN LIVE ENTERTAINMENT... Providing unparalleled professionalism and GREAT MUSIC, recording and touring artists are available for your special event. Arresting vocals and extraordinary musicianship are the foundation for this versatile, eclectic ensemble. Attention to detail and a cooperative spirit make this band extremely user friendly. Equally at home performing as a soft duo or a high powered five piece band, (and anything in between,) this group delivers a rich, polished sound that will light up your event as it does clubs, blues and jazz festivals, weddings and corporate functions. With style and verve, Liz and partner RC Ratliff, make any event memorable and distinctive. Liz Fletcher lead vocalist/bassist/composer. Sultry and soulful, whether its firey R&B or a heart wrenching ballad, connecting with the audience through the music is always Liz's primary objective. With a voice tempered by R&B, jazz, blues and rock, Liz has backed up artists such as Maria Muldaur and Eric Burdon and is a regularly featured artist at regional jazz and blues festivals. She recorded vocals on an album for CBS in Costa Rica which spawned several hits for the band Renacimiento. With several local albums to her bass credit, most recently Liz and RC contributed an original lullaby to a fundraiser CD entitled 'Lullabies for New Beginnings.' Liz frequently performs at resorts and venues around southern Arizona and is working to complete a CD of original material. Guitarist/vocalist/composer RC Ratliff always delivers his unique and exciting, eclectic and funky musicality with panache. He toured America and Europe and recorded with Motown hitmakers Jr. Walker and the All Stars for thirteen years. RC recorded guitar tracks on the title song to Madonna's 'Desperatly Seeking Susan' soundtrack among numerous other recording projects throughout his career. He currently appears with Liz Fletcher and other artists in the Tucson and Phoenix/Scottsdale area, consistantly creating contagious magic onstage. RC is currently recording two albums of original music. Drummer/vocalist Ralph Gilmore, toured the country with the Top 40 band 'The Grass Roots' for several years, appearing alongside a cornucopia of the nation's pop stars. Backing up the likes of British guitarist Albert Lee, and soul-jazz legend Eddie Harris, Ralph has always had a diverse and fertile music career. Ralph is southern Arizona's hardest working drummer, an ever-popular recording session player and musician around the state. As versatile as he is professional, we're proud to feature Ralph in our line-up. Master guitarist Ed Delucia funks up the funk and jazzes up the jazz. Integrating blues, rock and modern jazz, Ed has performed around the world and now brings the flare of the east coast to the old west with his signature infusion of energy. A busy session player, bandleader (in his own right,) and instructor, Ed also performs at blues and jazz venues around southern Arizona. Keyboardist/vocalist/composer/producer Duncan Stitt is one hot piano player! A prolific writer, (Duncan shares credit on a Mickey Gilly song) and a busy engineer in his recording studio, 'A Writer's Room' Duncan has opened for countless C&W touring acts. Versatile in all genres, he is a musical enhancement for all events. Saxophonist extraordinarre/trumpeter/percussionist Sidney George has a long list of musical highlights. Forming a college band with Johnny Rivers, he later worked extensively with Dr. John. In Hollywood Sid appeared in movies and telelvision and worked as a studio session player. Sid recorded a solo album in 1975 featuring Dr. John, Stephen Stills and Buddy Miles among others. Sid now calls the Arizona desert his home, and we couldn't be happier about it. Erudite saxophonist, Professor Mike Kuhn hailing from Buffalo NY is Jazz Director at Pima College and Director of Bands at Cochise College. Mike regularly appears with the symphony, backing up national touring acts such as Manhattan Transfer and Lou Rawls. Mike has performed with Buddy Guy and Dizzied Gillespi in Chicago, but for now, feels at home in southern Arizona. Mike produced a CD of original jazz entitled 'Pride and Prejudice.' Please be aware that while our calander indicates we are booked, we have flexible arrangements with our regular club dates. In SOME cases we may be able to substitute and play for your special event. We'd love to hear from you!
