Rising Sun Reggae Band tailors each performance and song selections to please and entertain audience of all ages, nationality and social background. You plan the event they will take care of the entertainment. They are often remembered for the quality of their performance. Rising Sun Released their first original CD entitled "Serious" in 2002. The 2nd CD "Beware" was released in 2006. The band received several awards from the DC Reggae Music Awards. This band is wonderful! I could not have been happier with their professionalism, talent, diversity of songs, and ability to get everyone up and dancing. They were hired for my husband's 35th surprise birthday party in bethesda at my mother-in-law's, and the crowd ranged in age from 4-74. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed them. All evening, everyone kept saying "wow, they're great! Where did you find them?" I would hire them again in an instant. They were also good about honoring certain song requests. You cannot go wrong with this talented bunch- they were an absolute delight. Hire them!

These folks were great! Had all of the guests dancing and having fun. Andrea did a wonderful job at coordinating and we will have them back at our next party.!!
