In 2002 Seattle Native, Rcurtis Fantpayne formed Seattle's hottest soul fusion band…RCURTIS & SOUL STAY SHUN featuring MIZ FLOES! Rcurtis and Soul Stay Shun™ is the first fusion band of its kind… They've actually managed to fuse soul, funk, jazz, and R&B. Most listeners enjoy the versatility of the Soul Stay Shun. This band is likened to a radio station, in the vein of switching the set to suit the venue, (i.e. 2-3 piece jazz group, full soul band, acoustic set, coffee house poetry, top 40 etc.). Their weekly events dubbed "SOULFUL SATURDAYS" are a HUGE success! Every Saturday night you can experience the soul of Rcurtis, Miz Floes and the Soul Stay Shun at the Twisted Cork wine bar in Bellevue, WA! This band is currently causing eargazms in and around the Seattle area. Come out and get down to the sounds of the SOUL STAY SHUN.
