The Pianoman Dan Group Latin Band from New York City, NY

Hi My name is Dan and if there is one thing I love is entertaining others. I started playing piano at the age of 10, where I studied classical music at the Manhattan School of Music. When I started to get into jazz, my mom who is Spanish got me into salsa music. I ended up studying the rudiments of salsa/ latin jazz at the Boys Harbor for the Performing Arts on 104th street and 5th Ave. There I won the Tito Puente scholarship, playing at the Apollo for a sold out audience. I would continue to win numerous awards and scholarships, including a full scholarship to the University of Miami's Jazz Program. I also worked on my masters degree at the University of North Texas' jazz program as well. I can offer you a very fun Jazz/Latin jazz trio group that can play music for people to sit and listen too, or get up and dance! What you will always get is a professional group that starts on time and ends when requested. Our rates are also excellent and we can add more instruments for a bigger band when requested. Another piece to the puzzle you might be seeking when hiring a musician is personality. My group is fun to work with while still being professional.
