Judy is a piano Performance and Pedagogy graduate from Carnegie Mellon University-Pittsburgh, Pa. She provides special ambiance to each party/performance that she plays for. Each performance is treated as the unique event that it is as she hand picks songs that fit the occasion and what the client wants. Her repertoire covers the American songbook, contemporary, standards, country, new age, Broadway, movie and children's music, classical and semi-classical and light jazz.
She can bring her own keyboard if a piano is not available. In addition to standard piano settings, it has the ability to replicate pipe, church and jazz organ; strings; classical, grand and jazz piano and harpsichord.
Some of the venues she has played are churches, temples, country clubs, hospitals, office locations as well as restaurants and wine bars. Her client list includes Cleveland Clinic, Club at Key Center, Cleveland Museum of Art, Club at Hillbrook, Chagrin Valley Athletic Club, Chagrin Country Club, Glidden House, National City Bank, Cystic fibrosis, Adoption Network, Parker Hannifin Corp., Hawthorne Country Club, Playhouse Square, Ritz Carlton, Renaissance, Marriot, South Point Hospital, The Cleveland Yachting Club, Walden Country Club, Rosemont Country Club (Akron), and many private parties. Judy Ann was selected by Paul Williams to accompany him in Cleveland at the international Film Festival 2012.
Judy will play for wedding rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies, showers, anniversaries, birthdays, holiday parties, fund raisers, black tie, bar and bat Mitzvahs, wine tastings etc. Judy is also available for community theater and nursing home performances. She has excellent references and demo-CD's are available. She is able to sight read and can accompany singers, instrumentalists, Broadway shows - even on short notice - as well as being the featured performer. Judy can also acquire the specific songs that you'd like to be played at your event.
She can been seen many weekends at Walden Country Club's Red Barn dining room in Aurora, Ohio. She also accompanies singers for weddings and can do this on a very short notice. She loves to travel to jobs (with or without her piano) to many cities both in Ohio or out of state. Carnegie Mellon selected her to play for their alumni and new students luncheon this past July at Breezy Bluff Mansion in Bratenahl, Ohio.
She recently played for Center for Health Innovation in Cleveland. She is also the pianist for the Euclid Symphony Orchestra. She is about to play for the Hyatt Place Grand Opening in the Legacy Village.
Cleveland Clinic Performing Arts Program Hillcrest Arboretum has asked her to play for them as well. She's also starting to play for more residential homes and hospices. She has also played for Beechbrook.
